Our Babies Have Arrived!

Paige Lee and Kinley Jo made their arrival on Tuesday, November 8th at 10:27 and10:28pm via C-Section. I had been thinking that my water was slowing leaking starting Monday morning and on Tuesday night my mother-in-law convinced me to call Labor and Delivery. The nurse told me to come in right away to have a test done for amniotic fluid. I got to EIRMC at 8:00pm, the test was done at 8:30, and came back POSITIVE for fluid at 9:00. The nurse told me the great news that my C-Section would be scheduled for 10:00 that night! I was so relieved and excited! Ryan and I started calling people to let them know that the little girls would be here soon!

The surgery went great and the feeling of hearing Paige and Kinley cry for the first time sent an amazing rush through my whole body! After recovering from my surgery for a few hours I was wheeled into the NICU to meet my babies! Ryan was such an awesome help the whole time I was in the hospital. He slept on a tiny couch in my room so that I didn't have to be alone! So cute! I was released on Friday, but the babies had to stay in the NICU for a few more days just to make sure they were eating well enough to come home.

Paige and Kinley were released from the hospital together only one week after being born. The doctor said that he had never released twins together before and that he was really proud of the girls! I lived in Idaho Falls until the babies were a month old.

All of us have been together as a family now back in Rock Springs for a little over a week. I love my new life and our sweet babies. Ryan is such an amazing husband and an even more amazing father to our girls! It is so nice to be all together.

Make Room for Babies!

Well I am 30 weeks and 1 day pregnant today. We are getting so close to meeting our little ones, but it still feels so far away! I am on moderate bedrest which can be a little rough because I get antsy from sitting around so much! I am currently living with my mom for the time being while I have so many doctors appointments and should definetly not be driving back and forth, but Ryan has to stay in Wyoming for work. He comes to visit on his week off, but not having my Hubby with me like normal is TOUGH! As my mom says, "its one of the many sacrifices we will make for our baby girls!"

From now on I am going to have a doctors appointment once a week with an ultrasound which is exciting! I also have to have non-stress tests done twice a week to make sure the little munchkins are doing fabulous.

I had a little scare on Monday, I was having some contractions and went to Labor and Delivery. They gave me a shot to stop my contractions and filled me full of water to make sure I wasn't dehydrated! My cervix is still "thick and closed" and my doctor said that my rather large uterus is just trying to adjust to the ever-growing babies!

Continued bedrest for me is the best way to keep the babies "cooking"!

We will meet them soon enough, but we did get some precious pictures of them at our appointment yesterday!

6 Months Pregnant

23 weeks 4 days pregnant. I can't believe how fast time is going by! I am watching my belly grow almost over night! Ryan and I have been able to feel them move around and it has been so exciting for both of us! It has made it even more real that there really is two little humans in there! It's amazing to think that there is not one, but two humans growing inside of my belly. Our bodies are so incredible! We have gotten a few ultrasounds now and had an echo done on both of their hearts and everything is looking healthy and normal which is such a relief and so exciting!

We have been putting their little nursery together and it has also helped me feel like this is really happening! The pink and green look so cute together and the bedding we chose looks adorable. I was holding one of their preemie onsies and I almost started crying (it must be the hormones) because I can't believe they will be so tiny and I want them to be here now! We just can't wait!

SOOO MANY CUTE CHOICES!

Choice #1- I keep going back to this bedding because its so cute, but its a little more expensive and only comes in a four piece set... but I LOVE THIS ONE!

Choice #2- This one is also adorable and it comes in a 9 piece set for about the same price as the paisley one... the only thing that I want that it doesn't have is some lime green in it, I guess I could deal with that though!?

Choice #3- Last, but not least this adorable one comes in a six piece set and is SUPER cute too, but a few of the reviews on the website aren't that great. Do I listen to the review or order it and make my own decision?? I still have plenty of time to send it back and get a new one if I don't like it.

HELP! There are so many ADORABLE options, literally on babies-r-us there are 13 pages of girl bedding!!! I would love suggestions! Ryan and I can't decide! I want our twin babies to have the cutest nusery and I can't wait to start putting their room together!

A Whole Month of Marriage!

I can't believe that in just a few days Ryan and I will have already been married for a MONTH! I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband! Our house is coming right along and its been so much fun putting our very own home together. Ryan has done some great little projects around the house and has many more planned :) We have the baby room all clean and ready to be decorated as soon as we know what the sex of our little one is we will start decorating and I can't wait! Our little dog Sage broke her leg the night of our wedding, but thanks to Chris and Melissa she has been at home for a while now and is doing great! Hurley is trying to be a nice big sister and take care of her ears and eyes while Sage has her cone on her head and can't take care of herself, so cute! I am now 16 weeks pregnant and we are looking into going to a place in Green River called Fetal Images so that we could find out the sex early because we just can't stand not knowing! We are still trying to think of some great names that we love and are always open to ideas! Right now I love Kinley and Easton, Ryan isn't so crazy about the unique names, but hopefully they grow on him!

How Time Flies!!

WOW! We are only one month away from the wedding! Our checklist is getting smaller:
      Bridals
      Address Invitations
      Finish up ordering tuxes
One more trip to the venue
      Finalize the flowers
      Bridal Shower
      Bridesmaids gifts
... I think that's about it! I can't believe it! Our photographer is AMBER HALL and she did such an amazing job on our engagements! I can't wait to take my bridals and I know she's going to do a great job at our wedding! We've decided we're going to VEGAS for our honeymoon! Ryan is so excited he's googling things to do left and right :] It's hard to believe that all this planning is for ONE DAY! I'm so excited and its going to be so amazing!

Also, we close on our first home at the end of this month! So many big and exciting things are happening! We can't wait to have a home of our own. Ryan is already planning all the projects he's going to work on all summer (such a typical man). We are becoming a little family and its amazing :]

Even closer to being MRS. BEHM!

So I went to Idaho Falls this last week while Ryan was working and got a TON of wedding stuff accomplished! My mom was awesome and spent an entire day running wedding errands with me! I also got to see my three besties, Ashley, Sarah, and Nicole! The girls helped me finish our favors and they look adorable! I'm so glad that I have such a wonderful Mother in law and grandma that are making the cutest and yummiest favors ever! I can't believe how close the wedding is and how fast time is flying!
I can't wait to be Mrs. Behm!
On another note, Ryan and I are looking at buying a house here in Rock Springs! Hurley will be so happy to finally have a yard and Ryan will love having a garage! I am so excited that we are making our little life together!
